[ Tool 03 of 18 ]

Vault.

Recoverable Safe-Deleted files.

What it does

The single store every Safe Delete writes to first. A file is compressed, kept with its original location, and optionally encrypted, and only after the archived copy is verified is the original removed. Restore puts it back exactly where it was. Purge erases the vault copy for good, behind a typed confirmation.

  • restore anytime
  • compressed
  • optional encryption

What you see while it opens

Every Atlas tool has its own loading animation, drawn from the work that tool actually does. This is the one Vault plays while it reads the archive and totals what is recoverable, rendered live on this page.

In the real app

Deletion with an undo button

  1. 1
    Everything Safe-Deleted lands here

Every Safe Delete across Atlas writes to one recoverable store. The Vault is the single place those files go before they ever leave your disk.

  2. 2
    Compressed, then optionally locked

Files are compressed and archived on the way in, so the Vault shows both the original size and the smaller stored size. You can lock it behind a PIN, a password or Windows Hello.

  3. 3
    Restore byte for byte

Restore any file or a whole selection and it comes back exactly as it was, to its original path. Nothing is altered while it waits.

  4. 4
Purge only when you mean it

Permanent deletion is gated behind typing PURGE, on purpose. Until you do, a delete is always reversible.

Before

You delete something to reclaim space, then realise a week later you needed it, and it is already gone for good.

With Atlas

Every delete waits in one recoverable, optionally encrypted store, restorable byte for byte until you deliberately purge it.
